Welcome to Newbury RFC, the home of Newbury Rugby

Newbury RFC is a community rugby club using players drawn from the local community and those coached through its own youth rugby program. The club was founded in 1928 and, since the early years, the standard of play has encouraged such major sides as Northampton, Harlequins and London Wasps to come and play against Newbury.

Since its establishment, the club has gone from strength to strength, winning honours both regionally and at county level. More recently, former Newbury players have gone on to greater heights with clubs such as Gloucester and Bedford.

Today, Newbury Rugby Club fields 18 teams from First XV to Under 7s. We pride ourselves on providing a friendly, open environment for players of every level to thrive, and we also extend a warm welcome to our coaches, supporters, guests, customers and oppositions.
